I am a low profile version of these people! Mindfulness meditation has transformed my life and is a staple part of my day.

It helps us manage our thoughts and reduces the overwhelm these can cause, particularly during times of uncertainty and high pressure.

It helps us build compassion for ourselves and others.

It helps us to strengthen the executive functioning part of our brain that leads us to be less impulsive and more measured in our thoughts, feelings and behaviour.

It helps us to better manage difficult emotions without suppressing them or turning to unhelpful external pleasures or addictions to distract ourselves.
